Adequate Advocate

During the long break from school (summer vacation), we were able to travel and visit some brethren in other parts of Ghana. We were delighted to be invited by the Akolas to go with them to Hohoe in the Volta region for the very first time! We got to encourage the Lantame Family and take part in a mini VBS. Our kids had a blast with their 4 kids and had fun working on the farm and also visiting a waterfall and hiking. We are grateful for the chance to build memories with our kids and between our three families. On one trip we wend together with fellow missionaries, the Wonder family and were able to enjoy fellowship with them as well as get some necessary paperwork done.       God has been so good to us we have had the successful end of another school year! Really appreciate all our staff and students who have worked hard throughout the year through various challenges like power outages, water shortages, and many sicknesses.  At the end of the school year, we had a field trip for each of t he classes. We are so thankful for the mission van we have available to carry the students to the different locations. Kids having fun at KFC (first time for many of them) Nursery I & II kids visiting the airport Kindergarteners having a movie day at 7 Wonders cinema run by fellow workers for Christ! Fun Day at the Botanical Gardens for First Grade and up! Nile and his class officially done with Kindergarten!!! We have been praying towards the construction of a borehole for years now so we can have access to clean water daily. Thankfully God has made it a possibility!! A blog post about many miscellaneous matters! As always, we praise God for guiding and blessing His ministry and work here in Ghana.  Some of the many goings-on lately which we have been too busy to report on: A successful and encouraging visit to the North to visit our family, the Akolas, and to participate in their annual Men's Meeting on the Rocks.                                                          Great preaching and teaching.                             Great fellowship and fun time camping out Ghana style - very basic! Back in Kumasi, we successfully ended our second term of this school year.  There are three terms each academic year, so only one more to go!                      We took one of the classes on an field trip to the lake formed by a meteor hit.  It has been a WONDERFUL blessing to have our 12 passenger van to make these trips to the North and for field trips, etc.  We are so very thankful and doing our best to use it to

God has been tremendously good to us this past 2015! So many things were able to be done for His glory!!! Along with the regular, tedious, and not so glorious but absolutely essential and important work of daily teaching little ones in the classrooms, raising our family, teaching and preaching the Word; here are some of the more exciting highlights of the year: - Renovation of school and gym grounds - Travel to India and the United States - Finding a new home to rent - Enclosing porches to create new classrooms and protect against rain damage - Matthew's Surgery: Matthew had been seriously burned from falling into boiling oil. Though most of his body has recovered through medical intervention, the accident left his right hand deformed. God being so good He provided the funds through an NGO for a successful operation and is now undergoing physiotherapy to regain use of his right hand.
